Required. The resource name of the exclusion to update:

"organizations/[ORGANIZATION_ID]/exclusions/[EXCLUSION_ID]"
"billingAccounts/[BILLING_ACCOUNT_ID]/exclusions/[EXCLUSION_ID]"

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • logging.exclusions.update

Query parameters

Parameters
updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Required. A non-empty list of fields to change in the existing exclusion. New values for the fields are taken from the corresponding fields in the LogExclusion included in this request. Fields not mentioned in updateMask are not changed and are ignored in the request.

For example, to change the filter and description of an exclusion, specify an updateMask of "filter,description".

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of LogExclusion.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of LogExclusion.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.admin
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
