Lets the user assign a system-wide hotkey to toggle the active state from any app, addressing a common menu-bar utility expectation. The shortcut is recorded in Preferences and is also displayed alongside a new top-level Activate/Deactivate item in the right-click menu. No default shortcut is provided to avoid conflicts with other apps; users opt in. Adds the sindresorhus/KeyboardShortcuts SPM dependency, chosen to match the existing pattern alongside Sparkle and DZFoundation and to get a polished Recorder UI without rolling a Carbon-based implementation. Localized across all 13 supported languages.
