Welcome to the GitHub home for the F5 DevCentral community.
This is where F5 community members, partners, and engineers share code samples, labs, demos, integrations, and tooling that make working with F5 products more fun. Some projects here are maintained by F5 employees, some by the broader community, and some are collaborative efforts somewhere in between. Whatever the origin, the goal is the same: useful, reusable, learnable code that helps people get more out of F5.
If you're looking for F5 Open Source code, it lives under the F5, Inc. and NGINX organizations. This is our F5 community layer.
The GitHub side of f5devcentral is one neighborhood of a much larger community.
community.f5.com is where most F5 community discussion happens — articles, tutorials, Q&A, and longer-form conversations across the full F5 portfolio. Founded in 2003, DevCentral predates this GitHub org by quite a bit and remains the primary hub for F5 community engagement.
If you have a question that spans multiple projects, isn't tied to a specific repo, or is more "how do people generally do X with F5?" than "is this code broken?" — community.f5.com is the better starting point.
We welcome contributions to any project in the f5devcentral organization. Each repository follows the same baseline standards:
- Code of Conduct — see
CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md - Contributing guidelines — see
CONTRIBUTING.md - F5 Contributor License Agreement (CLA) — required for all contributions; see the F5 CLA
- Security policy — see
SECURITY.md - Support channels — see
SUPPORT.mdIndividual projects may publish their own contributing guidance with project-specific details; when they do, those override the org-wide defaults you find here.
Projects/Repositories in this organization are typically licensed under Apache License 2.0, though individual repositories may use different licenses. Always check the LICENSE file in a specific project for the actual terms.
F5 DevCentral is the community of F5 users, partners, and engineers building, sharing, and learning together. This GitHub organization is one of the places we relax.
